How FlagElite Ownership Works

Each team in Flag Elite League is owned by an individual or legal entity known as the Franchise Owner (FO). The FO is the highest authority for their team within the boundaries of FlagElite rules and league policies. Owners must maintain good standing by complying with competitive, financial, and conduct standards outlined by the league.

Owner Responsibilities & Perks

Key Responsibilities

Hire and manage coaching staff, operations, and game day crew
Oversee team branding: name, logo, colors, uniform designs
Manage complete roster through drafts, trades, and free agency
Submit playbooks, depth charts, and weekly lineups
Handle budgeting and timely payment of league invoices
Ensure player eligibility and compliance with league rules
Maintain insurance and conduct background checks

Ownership Perks

Full control of on-field and off-field operations
Local revenue opportunities: ticketing, merchandise, sponsorships
Access to league streaming platform and stats system
National sponsorship revenue share participation
Eligibility for annual league awards and recognition
Community impact through clinics and charity events
Season-end profit share distribution
